Hyndburn ELLSA

Hyndburn East Lancashire Large Schools Association (ELLSA)

We work with three member schools from the main ELLSA cluster regularly to share practise and expertise and moderate.

In the Autumn term 2022 we are focusing on moderating Mathematics.

In the Spring term 2023 we will focus on moderating writing

In the Summer term 2023 we will focus on moderating end of year judgements.

Cluster moderation will take place in all year groups:

Reception        – Spring Hill

Year 1              – Spring Hill

Year 2              – Hyndburn Park

Year 3              – Mount Pleasant

Year 4              – Hyndburn Park

Year 5              – Peel Park

Year 6              – Peel Park

In addition we are planning for our children to have opportunities to work together with children from a contrasting school within the cluster. Coming soon!
