Welcome to Year 2 (2017- 2018)

The staff who work in year 2 are:

Year 2 Curriculum:

This year the children will continue to have English, Mathematics, Science and ICT lessons.  They will use the skills they have learnt in these subjects during their Creative Curriculum lessons. (The Creative Curriculum includes Art, D.T., Music, Geography and History.)
They will also have P.S.H.E., P.E and  RE  lessons.

 

PE

We do PE on Tuesday (2R) Wednesday (2L) and Thursday (2R and 2L). Please make sure the children have their PE Kits in school at all times and that they are labelled.  
The school shop is open on a Monday morning if you need to purchase anything.

 

Homework

Homework is given on a Friday and should  be returned on a Monday.
It is expected that homework will be checked by parents/carers to make sure it is completed to a good standard.  It should be completed by the children in their own handwriting and returned on time.
Home readers will be sent home on a Friday to be returned on Monday with the completed Reading Record.
Please check, sign and return the School and Home Learning journal and Reading Record each Monday.
Daily Readers will be chosen, by the children,  from Monday to Thursday and should be returned to school each day.
