22 March 2022

This week Spring Hill will be celebrating the work of Shakespeare. Throughout the course of the week, children will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in a range of events whilst learning about the life and times of William Shakespeare.

Activities include:

Drop Everything And Read (DEAR):

Some of our Reading Ambassadors are running DEAR (Drop Everything And Read). When a bell rings, everyone including adults, needs to be reading and they will be walking round to check. Therefore, please ensure your child brings something to read everyday next week. This can be a book, magazine, comic, etc.

Book Fair

There will be a book fair in school from Wednesday 23rd March to Thursday 31st March. This will be located in the library and will be open for purchase at the end of each day. Children will also have the opportunity to visit the fair during class time during the week commencing 28th March.

During the course of the week, children will be taking part in workshops led by story teller, Gordon MacLellan, also known as Creeping Toad.
